Abstract:
National integration in many circumstances has been considered as the panacea for national development for any given society. The above means that for a meaningful and peaceful coexistence that is expected to enhance the rapid development of any society, every component part of the society must come together and live in harmony. To achieve a democratic setting in a society, all regions, sections, or groups must be carried along in the scheme of affairs. The paper discusses what National integration is all about and its significance in a society. It goes further to reveal the role of education in making national integration a reality. In doing this the analytical method of investigation was be employed to arrive at the desired result
